How you can get involved in Northern Uganda

  • School Uniforms – for northern Uganda children: $10 each.
  • Sewing Supplies – for an income generating project for pastors' wives.
  • Three-student desk – for the new Pader secondary school: $45 each
  • Teacher's desk – for the new Pader secondary school: $60 each
  • Funds for Teacher Salaries – until the new Pader school can be self-supporting: $30 per month
  • Books – for the Pader secondary school, new or used, or funds to purchase in Kampala: $15 each
  • Sewing Machine – for tailoring lab at the new Pader secondary school and a secondary school in Kitgum where there are 200 formerly abducted girls: $80 each
  • Bicycles for Pastors – enable a pastor to minister to the thousands in his parish: $75 each
  • Sponsor a Pastor’s Child – secondary school student: $400 per year
  • Motorcycles for Pastors – for those who have regional responsibility (i.e. oversight of fifty churches or more): $750 each
  • Generator for Computer Classes – source of power for computer classes at new Pader secondary school: $1,500 for 2.5kv
  • Support Building a Guesthouse for Volunteers – provide accommodation for missionary teachers in Pader: $6,000 for 2-bedroom house
  • Support “Future Leaders from Northern Uganda” program – provide $750 a year for a student to attend secondary school. Each year 240 of the best performing P-7 students from 30 schools in Gulu will receive tutoring for entrance to secondary school. School fees will then be paid for successful students to attend S-1 through S-6 at a boarding school in Kampala.
  • Support Building a Counseling Home – house twelve formerly abducted girls with an “Auntie” for long-term counseling (one to two years), Bible teaching and life skills: $9,000 for 3-bedroom house plus $200/month for “Auntie” salary; $750 per month for food; $100 per month for soap, lotion, etc.; $400 per month for skill trainers and counselor salaries.
  • Build an Orphanage for Children of War – facility for 50 children - $50,000
  • Girl’s Hostel in Kitgum – house fifty school-aged girls in a dormitory. An income generating project for pastors’ wives -- $50,000
  • Join the Lebers' Support Team – become a committed "rope holder" for their ministry: $100 per month
  • Provide a One-Time Gift – to the Lebers' Ministry in Uganda.
