Furlough Notes - July, 2007

PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY WITH US FOR THE PEOPLE OF UGANDA

This summer we celebrate 9 years in Uganda and the seeds we have planted during these years are watered by your faithful prayers. We are returning to Uganda in September, and we are very grateful for the doors the Lord has opened during our furlough to share His Word, to speak about our call and vision for missions, to give testimonies of God's faithfulness and provision, and to spiritually encourage the church in America, as well as in Uganda.

We understand more than ever the need for an army of intercessors to be behind us. You will touch Uganda with the hidden work of prayer even though you may never meet the people for whom you are praying. The seeds will grow as you pray!

WHAT IMPACT HAVE WE MADE?

At times, it seems our impact is but one rain drop being added to a vast ocean - almost imperceptible. While the impact is uncertain to us, we are certain that God has called us to be faithful in serving the people of Uganda. We pray that the seeds we plant will reap a harvest that will remain long after we leave Uganda. Please pray that we will not do anything on our own strength, but only through the power of Christ.   We ask you to pray for us as we learn what it means to be faithful in offering the hope and love of Jesus.
